At the end of June Rimi Eesti Food and Havi Logistics opened a new distribution center near Tallinn in Laagri. From now on all products of fresh and fruits&vegetables categories will be distributed to all Rimi and Säästumarket stores from this 7200 sqm large warehouse.

According to Rimi Eesti Food supply chain manager Thomas Münch this is the beginning of a new era for Rimi Eesti Food logistics, and the new warehouse gives a great opportunity to improve logistics service for all Rimi and Säästumarket stores. There are also several other improvement projects planned for this year.

81 employee work now in the new warehouse, which distributes approximately 8,6 million kg of goods every month to 82 stores in Estonia.
