Rimi Estonia held a contest for the most customer focused store employee

This Autumn Rimi Estonia held competition called Nobenäpp for the 11th time. The aim is to honor good service culture and give the store employees possibility to test themselves in everyday work related service situations.

This Autumn Rimi Estonia held competition called Nobenäpp for the 11th time. The aim is to honor good service culture and give the store employees possibility to test themselves in everyday work related service situations.

“We have a lot of great employees at store who are very often praised by visitors, and in some stores, there are customers who have their favorite cashiers. A visit to store is a social activity for many people and cashier’s smile and a good word is what often makes the client to return to a certain store.” says Kaire Tero, Rimi Estonia HR Manager.

Main prize of 1000 euros for travel expenses was won by a person who finished as third at last year competition. She explains that she likes helping people to find the products they need and give them a good feeling from the visit to store. The second prize won 750 euro and third place 500 euro travelling voucher.

This year, 67 attendees participated in the preliminary rounds, of which 14 made it to the final. Both in the finals and semifinals, the contestants had to deal with different communication situations with test clients, be creative and attentive.
